Shit I Should Have Known Before Starting My Business

“You don’t know, what you don’t know, until you need to know it!”

This quote deeply resonates with me as I reflect on my personal journey towards self-discovery. From my early endeavors to earn money alongside my best friend Rodney, to my years in college, I have always been driven by an entrepreneurial spirit. When faced with adversity, I took action and embarked on my first entrepreneurial venture. However, I soon realized that without a comprehensive understanding of these five key elements, I have been continuously rebuilding my foundation.

Firstly, focus is paramount. Without proper focus, one can easily transition from being an entrepreneur to becoming an “Imatrypreneur” overnight. It is essential to direct all efforts towards a specific goal and avoid distractions that can hinder progress.

Secondly, consistency is vital in achieving success. Without a focused mindset, consistency becomes virtually unattainable. Consistent action and dedication are necessary to make progress and deliver results.

Building on the foundation of consistency, financial discipline plays a crucial role. When the fruits of our consistent efforts begin to materialize, it is crucial to exercise discipline in managing and investing those resources wisely. Financial discipline ensures long-term sustainability and growth.

Furthermore, relationships hold paramount importance in the entrepreneurial journey. Beyond financial gains, people are the most valuable asset one can possess. Building strong connections and nurturing a network of individuals who support and believe in your vision is fundamental to success.

Lastly, consistent branding is vital. Lack of focus and consistency can make it difficult for others to recognize and identify with your brand. By diligently maintaining a cohesive brand image and consistently presenting it to the world, one becomes memorable and distinguishable in the competitive business landscape.

In conclusion, this quote resonates with me as it encapsulates the fundamental aspects necessary for success in entrepreneurship. Through focus, consistency, financial discipline, relationship building, and consistent branding, one can lay a solid foundation and navigate the path to self-understanding and achievement.

A quiet quote from Shedeur Sanders reveals a deeper truth about discipline, focus, and control. Success isn’t built on hype, but on daily accountability, small goals, and consistent effort. This reflection explores how proving it to yourself creates clarity, momentum, and long-term growth—on and off the field, and in life.
  • When Is the Right Time to Pull Out… How Long Are We to Take Abuse?
Sometimes patience turns into pain. Watching Shedeur Sanders stay quiet through his benching feels like seeing someone trapped in a relationship that no longer serves them. • Stephen A. Smith Wasn’t Wrong — He Was Asking the Right Questions
When accountability feels like betrayal, real progress becomes impossible. Stephen A. Smith recently called out Rep. Jasmine Crockett for constantly attacking Trump — and instead of discussing his point, people tried to cancel him. But is he wrong? In this post, I break down why the culture of outrage is holding us back, why groupthink isn’t progress, and why it’s time to stop barking and start building.

If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to? If I had a million dollars to give away, I’d start with my four kids.
