When I’m locked in creating a blog post, editing a video, or building out an online project, it’s like the world around me fades. Hours go by like minutes. There’s something about content creation that pulls me in completely—whether it’s putting together an eBook, designing graphics, or mapping out a new idea.
But here’s the downside: I get so focused, I forget basic things like eating or even drinking water. Just today, I noticed I was hungry, and by the time I actually got up and fixed something to eat, two whole hours had passed. That’s how deep in the zone I was.
Sometimes it irritates me—I wish I could balance focus with self-care better. But at the same time, I think there’s something beautiful about being that passionate about what you do. When you’re fully engaged in your purpose, time becomes irrelevant.
Still… note to self: hydrate and eat before the creativity kicks in.
What about you—what makes you lose track of time?
